We are glad to inform you that the first installment of MF Global funds has been paid back to the Funds.
All Superfund fund assets held with MF Global (representing between 4.3 % and approx. 10 % of total fund assets depending on the fund) were previously deducted in their entirety in the index calculation of each fund. This resulted in a corresponding percentage reduction of the net asset value of the funds. Since this reduction, the trustee in charge of the MF Global creditor protection proceedings in the USA informed Superfund that between 12 % and 40 % of the Superfund Fund assets held at MF Global have been transferred back. These returned funds are again available entirely for the benefit of the investors.
In case of Superfund Profit Sharing Rights (Superfund A, B und C as well as Superfund Q-AG and Q-AG Savings Plan), the return of the first tranche constitutes 12.55 % of the Funds’ assets held at MF Global, and has already been taken into account as an increasing factor in the net asset value of the Profit Sharing Rights as of December 31, 2011.
In case of SICAV Funds (Green & Green Gold), the return of the first tranche constitutes between 18 % and 40 % depending on the Fund. As of April 30, 2012 these monies are now again available for the benefit of the investors.
The table below shows the percentage returned for Superfund SICAV Funds, depending on the class of fund. The share classes “I”, “I2“ and “I Gold” are dedicated to institutional investors.

In case of Superfund SPC Cayman Funds (Green & Green Gold), the return of the first tranche constitutes between 14% and 49% of the assets held with MF Global depending on the Fund. These monies are now again available for the benefit of the investors and will automatically be reinvested into the original fund.
The Superfund Blue Funds were not affected.
Further recovery of assets held at MF Global
Together with our American attorneys, Superfund continues to spare no effort to recover the remaining monies still held at MF Global as soon as possible.
This event has also shown the importance of Superfund’s use of four diversified brokers, which alone made it possible for the funds to continue trading as normal and without any interruption using the other three brokers.
We are convinced that by choosing this strategy and by having the first tranche of
MF Global monies returned within a short time, we have acted in the best interest of all Superfund Investors.
